Planning

The Réseau is a partner to regional health authorities, the Champlain LHIN and the South-East LHIN, as advisor on all matters pertaining to the health of Francophones.

Integrated Health Services Plan 2013-2016 (IHSP)
The Réseau contributes to the development of the Champlain and South East LHINs plan defining the local healthcare system’s strategic health priorities and goals for the next three years.

Integrated health services for Francophone communities
The Réseau addresses the importance of integrated health services in different ways: we are called upon to offer advice in the context of the provincial initiative Health Links and we coordinated a study on integrated health service models in minority communities

Mental Health
Continuity of care in mental health is a priority for the Réseau. Among other things, we are actively involved in the Champlain LHIN’s current consultation process to improve client navigation through the mental health and addictions health-care system.

Services to seniors
The Réseau and the other 5 French-Language Health Planning Entities of Ontario took part in a broad consultation in the context of the Ontario Seniors Strategy.

Palliative care
Last fall, the Réseau made some recommendations to the Champlain Hospice Palliative Care Program under its 2013–2016 workplan.

Reseau activities in the South-East region
Over the past year, the Réseau has become more active in the South-East region of Ontario, and our visible presence is making a real difference.

Planning tools
The Réseau has developed tools on French-language health services planning.
