As of 2012-2013, the Réseau is no longer in charge of the region’s French Language Training Program. L'Accueil francophone de Thunder Bay now runs the program for all of Ontario.

The French Language Training Program is funded by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. It offers reimbursement of fees for French-as-a-second-language courses for healthcare professionals who work with organizations that are designated or identified to offer French-language services. The program is intended to help healthcare workers who are or will be required to provide services in French.
